Hapinoy TindaVan, Now Rolling!
QUEZON CITY — This May 2020, Hapinoy TindaVan started rolling out in different barangays in Quezon City. This mobile grocery store, launched by Hapinoy and ActivAsia Inc., aims not only to bridge the physical gap between the supplier and the consumers but also to continue the supply chain in the communities by bringing the products closer to the sari-sari store owners for their inventories.
During this time of COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is encouraged to stay at home, and business operations of groceries, suppliers, and supermarkets are limited. This makes it difficult for sari-sari store owners to re-stock inventories. With Hapinoy TindaVan rolling out, it aims to bring essential goods to the residents of different barangays for their sari-sari store business.
In partnership with the local government of Quezon City, Hapinoy TindaVan operates simultaneously with QC Fresh Market on Wheels in selected areas. It holds a variety of products from Unilever, Nutriasia, and Century Pacific Food Inc.
Starting in Metro Manila where community quarantine has been extended for months, Hapinoy TindaVan aims to reach more sari-sari store owners and partner with them to continuously serve their communities through their sari-sari store amid a crisis.
